The purpose of the ADHD SIG is to bring together those Society members with
a strong interest in ADHD who want to better understand and change
the diagnostic and treatment practices of physicians in their care
of children with ADHD. An initial effort is to work towards developing
a network of clinicians in a quality improvement/real and field
research effort to improve the outcomes for children with ADHD.
It is intended that these efforts will lead to activities that
will meet the American Board of Pediatrics’ part four of maintenance
of certification. We have met at the last 2 meetings and are coordination
with the AAP efforts.
